Our Philosophy
Rested Roots Rising serves as a template for healing through movement.
As our name suggests, Rest is foundational to balance the rush of the human spirit. Rest and return to simplicity. Rest and remember the ease of simply being.
Through ease we connect to our Roots, our sovereign Spirit. Root to the Earth through the technology of our biology. Root to the depth of authenticity and the radical right to self-govern. Our Roots are the bonds we form with ourselves and the knowledge we share with our community.
From these depths of a Rooted, Rested Self, we become the wisdom to help humanity Rise. When we Rise above life’s hardships by passing through their threshold of understanding, we become a beacon of radiance. A frequency of Light guiding others to do the same. Rest. Root. Rise. Thrive

We guide with a gentle presence that encourages you to reclaim authority over your health, well-being, and living. We support you through your journey of learning and unlearning, leading with compassion, grace, and feminine wisdom.

Pilates Approach
“Aligned Effort”
Pilates is a low-impact physical therapy promoting full-body strength and flexibility.
We emphasize core strengthening, muscle lengthening, breathing, anatomical movement, postural alignment, and spinal stability/ mobility.
Great for those getting back into physical activity, *injury recovery, pre-post natal, and those who want to build strength without the pressures of a gym or group class.
*Please get clearance from your doctor before starting Pilates training.
Somatics Approach
“Active Rest”
Somatics is a mind-body movement therapy for gentle stress release.
We focus on bringing awareness to your body’s natural intelligence and pace of healing, and guide you through slow, gentle movements that support the health and longevity of your nervous system.
Great for all ages and abilities, especially those wanting support healing through chronic pain and fatigue. The movement is gentle and soothing for sensitive nervous systems, and helps to ease the stress of mind-body tension, promoting experiences of whole-self connection, clarity, and peace.

Hi, I’m Alexandria
Somatic Guide, Movement Alchemist, and Soul Embodiment Educator
I am fascinated by the intersection of the esoteric and the mundane and reverently live the spaces in-between. I carry certifications in everything movement because knowing the why of things helps ground me. I’ve spent the past decade learning everything I can about the nature of Soul and healing through many layers of generational trauma. Embodied movement is my method of choice because it continues to help me move through chronic fatigue, emotional heaviness, and anxiety responses. I enjoy traveling to different countries and learning from cultures outside of my upbringing because I believe new experiences deepens my love of humanity.
I live in Colorado with my husband. Both as teachers and students of Life—him as a light for the autistically gifted and me as space holder for the medicine of movement.
